Ice skates and old leather ski boots have changed throughout the years, and fortunately the Mark Miller collection is full of these great winter items from by gone days.
The ice skates come from Holland and were used on canals and ponds. They have wooden tops with metal edges and were designed for functionality, elongated skates for long distance skating.
Ski boots of quality condition are hard to come by, and fortunately we have some beautiful examples of early leather ski boots designed specifically for skiing.

Moccasins were used as winter boots and are a great match for snowshoes. These items compliment skis and snowshoes while ice skates look great resting on a table, hanging on a wall or draped over a fireplace mantel.
